Bionic Optimization Design and Discrete Element Experimental Design of Carrot Combine Harvester Ripping Shovel

Aiming at the common problems of high working resistance, low soil disturbance, and rates missed extraction in operation carrot combine harvesters, a high-efficiency drag-reducing bionic soil-loosening shovel was designed this study. The physical parameters carrots were measured, using badger claw toe as prototype. wing structures designed. Based on EDEM discrete element simulation technology, multi-element model shovel–soil–carrot contact established to determine effects operating speed sliding angle handle resistance. blade inclination opening force, disturbance rate also studied. results show that resistance increases with an increase speed. With (?) (?) 120.27° 47.37°, respectively, performance is best, force being 1908.76 N 55.37 N, respectively. virtual experiment shows efficient can effectively solve missing harvester shovels, while improving harvesting quality efficiency harvesters meeting agronomic requirements harvesting.
